About

My name is Angel Lemus; I am a visual artist with over 30 years of experience. I started my design career in 1985 in a traditional advertising agency in Miami Florida doing paste-up and design the old-fashioned way (without computers).
In 1987 I moved to Los Angeles, California, where I was hired by Petersen Publishing Company as art director for the subscription sales/direct mail department. After a couple of years I moved into the editorial department, where I worked on a broad range of special interest consumer magazines covering a wide array of categories.

In 1996 I changed career direction by transferring to the IT department, specializing in the technical and support side of magazine and Web production, handling large network infrastructures, software, hardware, and many cutting edge technologies. During this time I began to freelance as a web & graphic designer.

In 2008 I moved to Kaneohe, Hawai'i, where I established Koa Digital as a small, multi-purpose agency providing top notch web design and related services.  I invite you to look over my work  to see how I can be of service to you. I pride myself on working quickly and efficiently to meet your requirements in a stress and hassle-free manner.

Relationships are very important to me so I make sure to understand your needs so I can deliver to your satisfaction because my goal is to have you come back to me for your future business and that you will recommend me to your friends and business associates.

I would love the opportunity to talk to you to discuss your graphic needs and explore how we  best I can accomplish your goals.

Sincerely.

Angel Lemus

What does the name Koa Digital mean?

The word KOA in Hawaiian refers to the the ancient Hawaiian elite warriors who protected the King. They were disciplined and fearless, in battle they wore feathered cloaks and gourd helmets (as pictured here).  The Koa Digital logo is representative of the old mask.
Koa Digital embraces the old and the new in its philosophy or work, ethics, and relationships.
